Job description

As QA Officer you will guide processes regarding Quality Assurance (QA) matters within our company. The focus will be on implementation of proper quality standards and guidelines and meeting ISO15189, GCLP and GCP requirements. You will be in touch with multiple people throughout the company, to make sure all processes are aligned. As such, you will be working in the QA department of Cerba Research in The Netherlands, which currently consists of one QA manager, 3 QA officers, one QA supplier auditor and the vice president QA. You will be working at our location in Rotterdam Science Tower, where our head office is based.


The following tasks will be a part of your responsibilities:


  • Proactively advise, support and act as a sparring partner for the operational departments
  • Create and increase awareness in the organization with regards to quality.
  • Maintain the Quality management system and improve where needed
  • Continuous improvement of processes/procedures, identify bottlenecks in (the implementation of) processes and make proposals for changes and improvements
  • Review and follow up of deviations, corrective/ preventive actions (CAPA) and change control (continuous improvement);
  • Performance of internal audits;
  • Host client audits and manage follow up of the audits;
  • Review of quality related documents;
  • Give quality related training

About You

You work accurately and are able to work at a high level of independency, but can also operate as a team player. Furthermore, your organization and reporting skills need to be excellent.


Required background:

  • Completed education at HBO level, or HBO work and thinking level;
  • Experience with guidelines and implementation of quality processes;
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a similar working environment or position;
  • Experience as auditor;
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbally and written;
