Join us as a Planner in our Clinical Virology Services department and play a crucial role in scheduling assays and coordinating technicians for diverse projects. No prior experience is needed - we provide training and guidance to help you thrive in this role. As a Planner, you will work closely with Groupleaders and project managers, actively engaging in planning processes and implementing innovative scheduling methods to enhance efficiency and throughput.

As an active and enthusiastic team member, you will be based at the Rotterdam Science Tower, our head office. Here, you'll have the chance to shape new planning strategies and make a significant impact on vital research projects, all while receiving the support and mentorship you need to succeed.

Your key responsibilities and activities will include:

  • Scheduling assays and coordinating technicians for various projects, collaborating closely with Groupleaders and Project Managers.
  • Optimizing schedule efficiency and adapting to unforeseen circumstances to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Providing valuable insights into workforce planning, forecasting, and identifying departmental needs, actively advising on improvements.
  • Staying updated on the latest planning trends and software developments to continuously enhance planning strategies.
