IT Application Support – Veeva Specialist

About the role

As IT Application Support – Veeva Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the support on Veeva by mainly managing the supplier which provides the support.

Working together with the entire IT Application Support team you will also need to manage the support for all key applications such as Salesforce, Planisware, SAP, and others.

You will be responsible for resolving technical issues, managing suppliers, providing user training and guidance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize application usage

Your responsibilities will be:

• You work with our ITSM solution Freshservice to process IT application support tickets
• You work on the development of best practices and additional help tools in accordance with the business responsible
• You assist in ensuring operational and compliance with company’s policies, procedures, instructions and guidelines
• You assist in completing the available documentation and ensure that it is up to date according to the latest application release
• You maintain user/license management for Veeva
• You manage the Veeva support suppliers to ensure high quality support
• You follow up the new releases with Veeva
• Work together with the entire application support team to ensure business continuity on all applications

Needed education and background to be successful in the role:

• Bachelor's or Master degree or relevant experience in IT
• 3+ years’ experience in an IT support role.
• Experience working with a document management system
• Knowledge about one of our other key applications is a plus: Salesforce, Veeva, Planisware, VBA applications, Monday.com, …
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Office365
• Keen attention to detail and ability to follow processes
• Ability to absorb and retain information quickly and easily
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to transfer knowledge in a structured way
• Work well within a team
• Able to understand the end users
