As a G/L Accountant, you play a crucial role in the financial management of Cerba Research.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Here are some of the key tasks and responsibilities you would have as an Accountant

• You are responsible for accurately and timely accounting entries in the general ledger. This includes recording all financial transactions of the company, such as revenues, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
• You regularly perform reconciliations to ensure that the accounting data in the general ledger matches external sources, such as bank statements, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
• You play a key role in conducting monthly and yearly closings, ensuring that all financial statements and reports are prepared timely and accurately.

In summary, as a G/L Accountant, you are an essential link in Cerba Research’s financial team, ensuring accurate accounting records, reporting, and analysis to comply with financial standards and regulations, and to support management in making informed decisions.

THE IDEAL PROFILE

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, accounting or a proven track record in accounting
• A results-oriented and detail-driven approach to work, ensuring accuracy and precision in every aspect of your responsibilities.
• An agile and collaborative mindset, allowing you to adapt swiftly to changing situations and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken) are essential, and fluency in Dutch would be an additional asset.
• You have advanced Excel proficiency expected and fluency in the other office applications
• A problem-solver and critical thinker mindset, with exceptional time-management skills.
