Job description

As Manager of Production & Supplies for Clinical Trial Services & Logistic Excellence your main objectives involve managing the production and supply chain activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products and services. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Oversee the output and quality of departmental work, focusing on meeting customer demands and ensuring compliance with QA and QC standards. Develop and maintain proactive assembly and production capabilities to enhance added value while aligning with international regulatory standards, particularly for Test Kits and Sample Collection Kits.

  • Implement stringent protocols and effective inventory control measures to manage all materials required for production, including finished products. Develop and coordinate comprehensive work plans for the Supplies & Production department to optimize resource utilization and ensure seamless operations.


  • Safeguard and enhance the skills, training status, and capacity within the team while fostering a collaborative environment. Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to broaden company capabilities, facilitate growth, and drive progress. Provide expert advice to Business Development in interactions with potential clients and other relevant parties.


  • Develop and maintain the 'golden standard' globally for production and supplies processes, aligning with client expectations, internal best practices, and industry benchmarks. Lead the development and execution of a global strategy for freezer equipment and storage, ensuring alignment on training, SOPs, QA compliance protocols, and continuous process improvement initiatives across all company operations.

  • As a people manager you nurture a culture of skill enhancement and teamwork within the department, fostering professional growth and collaboration among team members. Provide mentorship and support to enhance individual skills and encourage a cohesive team environment.


Job requirements

About You


  • Background as a microbiologist
  • Strong in business orientation and organizational skills 
  • (Technical) production and supply planning experience
  • Solution focused
  • Writing, reporting and presenting skills
  • Knowledge of GCLP guideline
  • Knowledge of compliance monitoring
  • Ability to act compliant with regulatory guidelines related to supply and production
