Associate Data Manager


Objective

As Associate Data Managers within the Lab test Knowledge Center team you have the responsibility to create new lab test and to assure updates are being made to existing test codes. 

In addition, you are responsible for correctly capturing business and scientific relevant information in the Lab test Knowledge Center database.


Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Setting up new lab test capabilities and maintaining up-to-date information on existing lab test capabilities in the Lab Test Knowledge Center.
  • Test code & calculation creation, verification, compilation into test panels where needed, and QC.
  • Checking consistency of information obtained from the lab (in close collaboration with Scientific Liaison team). Updating test code information when needed. Configuring quality checks to trace inconsistencies in results received from the lab.
  • Ensuring harmonized reporting across different labs.
  • Implementing correct and relevant safety alert values, reference ranges and stability information.
  • Impact assessment based on changes communicated by the lab (in close collaboration with Scientific Liaisons).
  • Documenting and filling of relevant documents linked to the test code creation process.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting questions from internal & external stakeholders about Lab test Knowledge Center database.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of the Lab test Knowledge Center.
  • Quality: incident registration; support in the resolving of CAPAs and QEs
  • Support the subject matter expert in creating / updating documents in Veeva
  • Support in internal and strategic projects

Note: as Associate Data Manager you will liaise with more experienced colleagues for cases / tests with a higher complexity.


Job requirements

Your qualifications:


  • You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent experience in one of the identified key fields of interest of Cerba Research
  • Basic Knowledge on the various “standard” clinical laboratory testing (hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immune assays, etc.), either from a scientific point or from a database management point, or both.
  • Analytical mindset
  • You are highly organized and rigorous with great attention to details
  • You communicate in a clear way to technical and non-technical teams, and to cross-functional teams
  • With a hands-on mentality
  • You like to be part of an international team
